Tomorrow? Christmas is TOMORROW??? So today I need to make Pecan Cranberry Biscotti -- enough for four brothers' & sisters' gifts -- and buy grab-bag gifts (2) and stocking-stuffer type gifts (for 17). Prep the house for our exit tomorrow a.m. Buy more coffee so we'll be fully fueled in the a.m. for our trip to Michigan. Unearth festive jewelry (worn just once a year). Make the wild rice cranberry salad today for the family dinner tomorrow.

And watch the huge snowflakes falling straight down. So pretty!

How are your last-minute preparations going?

My golden stuffed Cornish game hens are in the oven, along with my winter roasted vegetables. The table is set, the cookies are done & the gifts are wrapped. Time for a sip of wine & to relax before I get the hens out of the oven.

Back from the grocery store and the bank. Made one batch of biscotti already and it is sooo good that I'm going to make another batch -- for neighbors' gifts and for US!!

Cora, warm sounds so great. We had heavy snow and then rain -- the roads are wet and slushy -- folks in the grocery seemed on a mission -- lots of women with lists clutched in hand -- some men with little children -- all quite festive and fun.

So onward to the second biscotti baking and then some wrapping. Later, the rice salad.

Oh, and laundry??!!

Have fun wrapping for little Charlie, Heather. Make some hot cocoa for yourself and enjoy enjoy enjoy.

Merry Christmas to all.

So much to do!!!!! I'm hoping I have everything here and don't have to make a last minute trip to the grocery store. It's funny === just tell me there will be NO grocery stores open for 1 day, and you would think I needed to stock up for a month!!!! I just panic at the thought.

No snow here in Florida. It's supposed to reach 80 degrees tomorrow. So I guess we will have the air conditioner on as I cook!
