Just had a nice talk with a local farmer that popped in telling me about the wooden goodies he can make. He's taking on a shaker style rocking chair! We talked about the trades, canning, silly people, the media instilling fear in everyone, etc. I said I'm not worried and it's just a wake up call for those of us to go back to "olden" ways of being more independent and getting our hands dirty. It was just nice to talk to someone and he's been there done it.
