Posted - Dec 04 2008 : 04:25:24 AM Here is what we do....and for anyone just joining in, we have upped the challenge as we have gone along...started with four letters, changing just one each time, now we are playing with EIGHT letters, with the ability to change TWO of them each time......
We start with one word Next person can only change one letters to make a new word Use English only (I know this is debatable but you know what I mean) No adding letters Letters can be mixed around (for example rate could be made into tear)
Here goes the first word!
Pray

This game is great brain exercise. I try to figure it out in my head but usually resort to pen and paper. I feel like a kid again as I grab the dictionary that had been collecting dust. At a baby shower last week there was a game of scrambled words. I tied for second place with a group of bright young mothers and think this game is part of the reason. Thanks for sharing the fun.
