I can feel it! I am so excited. I have a very short list of things to get done before my time with this semester runs out and it is great!

I have really enjoyed this semester and learned a lot- most especially that I can do well in school if I just stick with it long enough! I just have a little bit more math to get done and a little bit more on my research class. I also have some on my History and Psychology...but really I am on the home stretch! I can already tell I will have lots more time to spend here with you ladies and I am SOOO excited! I have missed having big gab fests!

Could we maybe just start a thread? I know some sisters do not have a sisterhood and will college being $$$ to attend, this could be open to us broke college students. : )

LOL that's great Heather! I would definitely subscribe to that thread/join that henhouse, even if I'm almost finished.
I dropped out of college 4 times before I got my Bachelor's in 2007. I finished in Feb. 2007 then decided I was nuts and enrolled in the MSM program. I am now in class #10 of 12..... I see the light at the end of the tunnel and I am SOO sick of school! But hey, we're farmgirls - we can conquer all!!!!

Oh my goodness!! I must have some of that water here too!! I ran across the page that shows BSU's Master of Education Technology which fits the direction I am heading and my ultimate goal!! (Laura, DON'T laugh!!) I still have a lot left to do for my bach degree (am finishing my 3rd semester!) So at the moment it is fleeting, so we'll see.

Alee, I also like the idea of starting up a thread. If I subscribe to it, then it would be easier to keep up with. There are days it is "extremely challenging" to complete the math and I could use all the encouragement I can get!!

Hmmmmm, sudden thought! - what about a virtual henhouse??? Maybe call ourselves something like "The Clucking Sisters University" or whatever. Whatcha think, ladies? Interested???

Rachel- HA!! We MUST be drinking the same water because I am already applying for my D U A L Masters!!! CRAZY!!!

I love school and now if I could only find a way to sneak away from life and just concentrate on that...but this will all be worth it in the end and it shows Charlie persistance, goal reaching, personal satisfaction, etc, etc, etc...

*sigh* I wish I had semesters so that I could look forward to the end of one! My classes change every six weeks. My Finance for Managers class ends on 12/22 and I start Strategic Management on 1/6. But on 2/16, I start Applied Management Project and I graduate in May! We can do it, ladies! I actually caught myself looking up post-graduate school programs because I entertained the thought, for approx. 30 seconds, that I would go for my Ph.D. after I finish my Masters. Then I decided that I was obviously inhaling fumes from too much well water because more college is NOT happening! :)

Congratulations all you "school girls" My daughters have families and both work fulltime and will graduate in June, one with her masters & one with her teaching degree...I hear & know what you are going through. It is hard but the rewards awaiting are Gold at the end of their rainbows.

We college girls need to start a thread at the beginning of next semester and keep encouraging each other. I know that if I feel "accountable" to more people it helps me stay on the right track!

Alee, I am so impressed that you keep spending so much time here and keeping up with school. And you even have a little one at home! I feel like it is all I can do some days to keep up with my studies and work. I am so looking forward to the the 18th when I finish my last final for this semester and then I can spend more time here!  I have been popping in now and then but it's never enough!

I know what you mean. This morning, I collected 24 essays from my Comp class that I need to have graded before the end of next week, along with the 17 research papers that I'll be collecting Monday night. Then I'll have finals to grade as well. I'll be glad when the semester is over, everything is graded, and I've submitted my final grades!

Alee, I wish I could be excited about the end of the semester. I am just overwhelmed with the massive amount of things that need to be done between now and then. My last final is on the 16th and once I finish that I think I'm going to sleep for an entire day.

Alee,
I am glad to hear that you are enjoying school. It's great that you are finishing school. I think about doing that sometimes. I know it must be difficult with a little one but what an awesome accomplishment.
