you go to the feed store to buy 100 pounds of laying pellets and hand the owner of the feed store the current issue of MaryJane's Farm magazine, and then proceed to tell him why he needs to carry it in his store!!
I'm sure he thought I was a nut, but as I drove away, I spied him leafing through the pages while standing at the counter. Oh, yeah. I bet he's hooked!

Heck, he didn't know he was speaking to a celebrity when you went in there to buy those pellets -hehe. I hope you are doing great! You work at a feed store that actually carries Mary Jane's Farm magazine, and while putting the new mags out, get caught flipping through the pages of the new issue!!!! Of course I do buy it, that's how I found all of you wonderful Farmgirls!!!!

Hahahhahah :), they all need to add the OUTPOST book to their "must read", just so they can begin the journey...
I love that we are all out there having the conversations.. I always have heard that it is the grassroot movements that "take root".

I shared my copy of Where Women Create in my Interior Design class! I read part of the article about me!(The woman from LA with the lap dog!!!!LOL! MARYJANE!!!!!!)Anyways all these young college kids just stared at me like I was from another planet when I told them about sleeping in a tent and PEEING outside and of course the under the stars bath!! Maybe I inspired some of them! It was a lifechanging experience and I'll be a farmgirl forever!!! Hugs and love to all!
