YES me, I am mentioned in the latest MJF magazine, which I received yesterday thanks to Karen!!
It is on page 111, about eating local food. I remember my answering that thread on the forum and now I see it in MJF magazine. How cool is that, lol
BTW I love the issue, it has SO many cool and fun stories and ideas in it. It is a keeper, as are all the others I have, YAY!!

Yes, you are SO right! That is the fun part, it is way more personal than the glossy's.
I have to be honest, I do like to read the so-called glossy's like Romantic Homes etc. IF you can really call it a "glossy"
But with MJF it is US and about US and from US. Real and fun and good etc.

Yipee Marian! Isn't it fun! The best thing about MJF is that it's Mary Jane and us! It's not some unknown publisher with glossy makeup ads, it's our tips and quotes and it's real! I don't think I could ever thank Mary Jane enough for starting all of this!

WOW! Marian...how neat is that! Do people still say "neat" or am I aging myself...but it IS neat!!!! I haven't seen it yet...I hold my magazines off for a reward when I'm done working but it seems by then I am too tired! I need to sit down one of these days! CONGRATS!!!!!

Hey Marion, I saw this and went to see your piece. I got to reading the others on the page and thought one sounded really familiar and it was me! I just about fell over. That is SO cool to see youself in a magazine, for sure.
I remember that post, too. That's why I like this mag so much. I know a lot of the people in it. I recognize so many of ya'lls names. It makes it all more real. I got to show my mom and step dad, too. He teases me all the time when I mention MJF about my "imaginary friends". He was impressed.
It sure is a nice surprise, isn't it?

I had been mentioned once before, in Country Home years ago. That was about what you like about winter, and I had just written an email to let them know. And they added it to their letters in the next issue as well.

Ohmigosh, Dutchy! I wish I could have said, "Hey! Look on page 111 for a surprise!" but I totally missed it. I think I was concentrating too much on all of the Mavens in mag this time.
