I went to an antique place a week ago and low and behold they were selling this treadle machine in the cabinet . it has 4 drawers and it works. it came with the shuttle and bobbin. I just have to get some needles) not sure if they have to be different then the ones we have now. anywho, you guys are never going to guess what they wanted for it!!!! drum roll.. $35.00. no kidding!!!! I bought it so fast my head was spinning. we have amish by us and then sell the new cording to work the treadle part and I bought that so I was just wondering if I could date it? Any ideas? (Okay, just being silly on Friday morning and glad of the weekend!) Good luck. If it's a Singer, you might contact Singer, I think it's singer.com and they have lots of resources and information.
