I really meant to plan a chapter outing to this event, but "life" got in the way! But I thought I should mention it to all you local Spokane gals. It is at the Interstate Fairgrounds again and starts today (Friday) at 10 am and goes all weekend. I am going to try to buzz in for a short time today . . . already helping build a gate for my parents and going to Greenbluff to pick apples and get pumpkins this weekend, but I have to at least go for a bit . . . it is always so inspiring!

I went . . . while running errands with my husband! Poor guy . . . he was one of about 5 men out of thousands of ladies . . .the other guys were all over 70 and apparently husbands of exhibitors. But Ron was patient. I was still disappointed at all the machine done things . . . I don't just mean quilting but completely embroidered by computer. Just don't see pushing a few buttons and walking away while a machine does it for you as art . . . but that's just me!

I do love all the penny rugs and am hoping to do some of it in the near future. Definitely worth going . . . even Ron seemed to enjoy it . . . as long as I kept giving him money for the snack shack! LOL!

Wish I could go, I love quilts, especially after reading the "Elm Creek Quilters" series.

I'm going too. With my daughters and DIL, like last year. We have a busy weekend planned with the quilt show, Phantom of the Opera on Saturday and brunch at The Davenport on Sunday. A girls weekend, yeah!

Enjoy the quilt show. I know I will.
