I am reviving an old thread in honor of our Sister Clare.
I was always so touched and inspired by Clare's earlier monthly calls to unite "farmgirls for healing". I fear my contribution may pale in comparison but because I felt those calls from Clare (in combination with Meadowlark's Moon Watcher's Companion) united us all in such valuable ways, I'm willing to give it a shot.gulp.

(BEB's audible clearing of throat...)
I humbly propose this November 15th Full Moon, which begins at 4:57 (PST)Tuesday afternoon, as a time to focus our intentions and prayers to healing relationship wounds, both past and present.
These relationships can be those that are closest to us in our families, or those that ripple out through friends, strangers and even to entire nations. Powerful healing impact on the planet can start by beginning to understand and heal our own individual pain.
By using the collective healing intentions and prayers of farmgirls everywhere, let's envision an unclenching of mind and fists, and an opening of hearts and arms to the tremendous changes that true understanding, forgiveness, healing and the cycles of the moon, can bring.
I am quoting Clare here because I just can't say it any better:
"So, mark this (Tuesday) on your calendar as a time to reflect, and do whatever calls each of you. This is a personal thing for each of us, but we can be WOMEN UNAFRAID especially when it comes to matters such as this."

"Peace, healing, enlightenment, light and love to everyone."

Thanks, dear Clare, where ever ya be, we miss ya, farmgirl!

Hey Farm Girls!!!!

Please excuse the typo in my previous post. I was hurrying and intended to say "I came home about 11pm"......... "The faster I go, the slower I go."

Hey Farm Girls!!!

I came about last night about 11pm after a long, very hectic day. As I was getting out of my car, I looked up at the full moon shining over my pasture and was filled with joy and peace as I thought of all of the other farmgirls who were out looking at or perhaps howling a(too cool) at the moon. Let's hope that all of this lunar activity brings peace on earth.

I am WOMAN, hear me howl!

If I keep a green bough in my heart, the singing bird will come.

Thankyou from my heart too BEB! I have a practice of doing ceremony on the full moon nights. It is wonderful to know I am connected to you other women out there doing similar things. It has been my desire that we women can all grab hands and hold on, sending out love to cover our whole planet and universe. I am a believer in collective thought and its ability to bring about change.
Thank you for your loving post BEB. You need not apologise for how you say it. It is heart felt and we get it! I miss Clares posts too and am wrapping my loving arms around her as she is healing her wounded heart. Glad to have you ladies with me.

Last night I went outside to drive home from my daughter's house and the moonlight was so strong, it fell on the road like a streetlamp. Later, in bed, I heard the wild hooting of a big owl. He was really hooting over and over again....so I went out on my porch to listen to him and watch the moon. I think that owl was calling to the moon, too.
Peace to you all, and thank you BEB for your post.

I reread BlueEggBabe's beautiful post, then went outside in my warm jammies and sweater and coat. In spite of biting wind and yapping coyote-T's I looked up at sister moon and reflected on my friend's Sue's and Clare's words. Granted it is not the balmy heat of a July night where I can find my inner wolfwoman and howl at the moon nekeeed or dance in a light cotton nighty on the wet green grass. But every month we celebrate the power of nature, our feminine gifts, and the glory that our Creator puts in the night sky is sacred and a gift. We could all use a little hope and peace and comfort in these times...it's right outside your door or window, smiling down it's silver light. Dare ya to go out in January on the full Wolf Moon our sweet Canadian farmgirl sisters!...Tell what it is like in all of the places you live!Blessings to all of you.

If I keep a green bough in my heart, the singing bird will come.
