How do i post a "clickable button" in the side bar of my blog?
I would like to add one, but just don't know how, duh!!
Any help, please??

Heather, it IS something like you have I guess.
LOL I am participating in a swap on another blog, and just would like to put THAT picture on my sidebar, so that when peeps click on that picture, it takes them to her blog immediately,. Without me having to enter her blog link, capice?? lol.
I have been looking into my set ups and FAQ, but it is not there, duh!
Might be very simple, but as ya know.........;)

Well, is yours a classic or new style. I know how to do the html editing in the classic but not the new.
It's a html code. Do you want clickable buttons like I have, or like a widget?

Marian, I'm not real sure which kind of clickable button you would like to add.
On my blog I have a link list titled "Fun Stuff for Your Blog". Under that I have a link to Final Sense Free Blogger Templates.
You can also use the link list to add a list of your favorite websites, blogs to your blog.
This one is really simple to do.
Just click the layout button to your blog,
then click on "add a gadget",
when the screen pops up click on the gadget that best suits your needs. I used the link list.
It will prompt you to title your list and then it have you fill out URL (web address) for the site you want added to your list,
then have you give the site a new name.
The new name becomes your clickable link on your blog.
But if what you want to add is a blog list, blogger has a new feature specifically for that. I'm planning on trying that one out in the next few days.
There is a way to make a pic a clickable link, but the only way I know how to do that is with html coding and it's lil more confusing. If that's the link you'd like to have, I'll do some looking and find out how to do it again. It's been awhile and I can't quite recall how just now.

Marian, is it one you want to design yourself or one you have seen on someone else's blog? All the gadgets ans widgets that I have on mine i found from other blogs, when you click on them, they take you to the web-site that created them and tells you how to add them to your blog.

I am not sure Dutchy, but if you were to go to the part where to customize your blog page...it may tell you there. I think that you can add links on blogspot, if that is what you mean...good luck with your blog.! |
