Yes, Julie...the weather is heavenly and I would LOVE to hang my sheets out but as I've said...the lines are under a tree that LOVES to shed seed ticks onto my clothes when the winds blow so I am holding off until I either move the clothesline or I move.
Your chickens are SO SWEET....I can't wait...did I tell you I went to City Hall here and they laughed at me when I asked if I could have chickens. They looked at me as if I was some kind of freak...of course none are from here originally...locals here would not have laughed.....in fact we'll see who has the LAST LAUGH! Ha! Ha! Whereever did manners and being respectful of others ever go?
Oh! I just had a FABULOUS idea! While sitting here...the breeze is blowing great on my porch and it is screened in so I could put lines out there or those wooden clothes hangars and no bugs on them! BRILLIANT! See how you inspired me!?!?!?
How's school going? Amy, my daughter, is loving teaching ART!

Julie - Congrats! I remember getting my first eggs ~ thrilled beyond belief doesn't even begin to describe how I felt! Now, I miss my fresh eggs, having lost my chickens to wild critters. Hopefully, in the next week or so, I'll have the new chicken coop built, and can furnish it with new chickie babies! And I also agree with the sheets dried on the line. I really think I sleep better on the sheets that have been line dried, as opposed to dryer dried! Keep up the great work!
