Posted - Sep 28 2008 : 10:47:24 AM Just posted a couple of pictures. I was thinking about how I have so many beautiful things around here from girls I have never seen. I really wish the postal rates were not so high, I would love to send a lot of things out to girls that would want them before I would send them to charity. I was thinking about doing real small light weight things that would only require a few stamps. But most thing I would want to give away are not small or light weight. Well I'll try and work on this. Posted - Sep 29 2008 : 5:55:15 PM OH OH Nancy JO!!!! I have been missing out! Please can I have your recipe for that chicken....????YUMMO! And the pumpkin cheesecake swirlly thing too! I have been working, working, working, and trying to keep an ear to the news....all doom and gloom which sure doesn't do anything for a girl's demeanor but your blog sure lifts me up! How's Richard doing? Your home is so cozy and I remember pressing the leaves between waxed paper when I was a young girl but were those in the salt jar done that way? They looked so fresh....maybe I did it wrong all those many years ago? Of course now that I have my house up for sale no one will be doing anything real estate wise but I ask for God's guidance and when I get it I always want it to be different...Ha! Ha! If nothing else it got me going to straighten up my house and go through my things which I really needed to do and I am STILL doing it! Your blog always motivates me to cook, clean, and look at MY little finds with a new eye or eyes(?)...visiting your blog is like going to one of those beautiful old homes where you pay an admission fee and they have areas roped off and you look into a perfectly decorated room. It truly gives me so much pleasure and I PROMISE>>>pictures and/or a blog are forthcoming!!!!

Posted - Sep 28 2008 : 6:38:26 PM I was just shocked the other day when I gifted a very small box of fabric scraps and found it cost $6.53 to mail it!!!! I could not believe it. So I too was really getting into sending little gifties around but it just does not look like that will happen much. They did away with printed matter mail also! Nothing is sacred! I too wish to be in Kentucky for the get together but it will just be in spirit. Love to all! K
