Lately I have been finding so many great things at garage sales. Today I got my three year old son a Buzz Lightyear costume. He is obsessed with "Toy Story" and the characters so he was beyond thrilled to get this. I also got three bags full of baby clothes for Joseph for just $30, and these are great brands such as Gap, Old Navy, and Carters. I get so tired of going to garage sales where the clothes are yucky or high priced, or both! I found a few pjs for my daughter today as well.
A few weeks ago I went to a sale in the rich part of town that was just to die for - nice, nice things priced so cheap! I spent $50, which is the most I ever spent at a sale but I sold the Proactiv face wash that I bought there for $59 on Ebay (I spent $13 for it at the sale) and sold a K'Nex set for $30 (that I payed $1 for). I got a double jogging stroller, a Little Tykes kids Coupe riding car, tons of brand new looking Disney VHS tapes for 10 cents, snowpants and boots for my daughter, a brand new Baby Gap outfit for Joseph, purses for myself, Melissa & Doug wooden toys, and much more. Don't you just love garage sales?!!! My kids are well dressed on such a small little budget!

I just wish I could find stuff for myself at garage sales. It seems like there is rarely adult clothes for sale, and when there is I usually have a hard time looking through it all while holding a baby. If only I was dressed as well as my kids! lol

I love garage sales and thrift stores for finding the most interesting things for so little money.I think half of the stuff in my house came from that kind of shopping.

I'm jealous, it's my dream to find a cozy coup at a yard sale! I did better than I ever had two weks ago, then for the last two weeks, all I found was junk. But I keep looking.
