If given the choice of any one thing that you would have someone else do around the house for you, what would it be? For me, the shopping and cooking. I can't seem EVER to get this on a schedule or organized.

Vacuum I hate it I don't know why I just do.I really would like to fashion a vacuum with a fork lift thing on the front to pick up the couch and chairs and vacuum under them.

Washing the kitchen floor! I don't know why but I just HATE doing it. My hubby vaccuums the rest of the house and I sweep the hardwood daily but I hate getting out that mop!

If I could pick another it would be cleaning the shower. I hate that almost as much as the floor.

A clean floor?? Whats that??? I think I have seen one once after I scrubbed and scrubbed when my babies were little, but I turned my back on it and it disappeared??!! Now I settle for swept and big stains wiped up!! Oh the compromises!!!

I would have someone do floors. I only have two rooms with carpet and I never feel like the floors look as nice as I would like. (especially the kitchen floor right now with canning going on daily) so yes...floors..I would like a floor lady to come in at the end of each day so I could wake up to shiny clean floors!! That IS a fantasy!!

Marcy, I clean when I'm mad too. Sometimes I wonder if dh picks a fight just so I'll do more work.
To be fair, I'd say the dishes, with or without the dishwasher, cleaning up after myself, dh and the four boys, three meals a day plus snacks (homeschool, so we get no meal breaks) is a CHORE. I say I have called the dishwashing fairy but she's run off with the laundry fairy, so it's left to me. Thankfully my oldest son, and my hubby do a lot of work but only when I ask OR if it's obvious that momma needs a break. Then it's "you go take a bath, and we'll do such and such". Thankful for the little things righto?

If someone would just clean for me than I could do all those fun things..like sewing and scrapping and reading...but then I would have nothing to do when I get mad... watch out when this farmgirl gets mad the house shines like a diamond or cz!!!!

Well with 7 people in the home and 4 of them teens I'd just love them to pick up after themselves it would make all the other cleaning alot easier!

Well, let's just say one big category of "cleaning". Actually, I guess if I had to break it down it would have to be the picking up part. I can NEVER seem to get that done and if that's not done I never get on with the rest of the cleaning routine. So, yes, let's fantasize about this house magically putting everything away!

I've got to say cleaning the bathroom too. It never used to bother me. Oh well guess I'm just fickle that way. This week I hate the bathroom, next week I'll hate doing laundry.

Before I got my dishwasher not too long ago it would have to be doing the dishes! Oh how I hated to do dishes, especially after family dinners. But now I am a HAPPY woman!!

Now it would have to be organization. I have stuff piled quite a few places now and would love to have someone help me get organized. Any takers??

I would be over the moon if they would just pick up thier own "stuff" and put it away..... now that is a fantasy! LOL

For me it would be swapping seasonal clothes in the closets and getting them organized. I always intend to downsize on clothes and shoes, but.........something comes over me and I can't seem to get rid of anything. Then at the end of the season I think--"I didn't wear that again this year---I should get rid of it---I will next year!!!" A never ending cycle.

Oh Heather! Does it really have to be just one thing?? I'm not so sure I can choose between them. I hate to dust as it makes me sneeze and cough, sometimes I can talk hubby into doing it for me. I absolutely dislike having to go to the grocery store, but hubby also dislikes it so I get the job. There is more, but I guess the dusting would have to be it. :)
