Posted - Sep 19 2008 : 10:53:51 AM There is going to be an Arts & Crafts fair on October 11 up Highway 21 at Muley's Coffee stand. The Mountain Farmgirls of Idaho City are setting up there along with several other artists and crafters. There will be fancy coffees, of course (Muley's is putting on the show), live music, beer, bbq sandwiches and the best hotdog stand I've been at in years (and I don't like hotdogs!). It should be a lot of fun and we would like to invite any other crafters/artists (farmgirls or otherwise) to set up (I can give you the contact info for Muley's - set up is FREE!) or just come on up and visit us and have some fun.
Kim, do you think you or any of your chapter would like to come on up? We would sure like to meet all of you and sit and chat for awhile.

Posted - Oct 08 2008 : 8:33:37 PM Considering the weather forcast (they're calling for 3-6 inches of snow), I contacted the guy putting on this show and he said: rain, shine, snow - it's still on! He put up a huge military tent with a wood stove and he plans to set up another one, too. Musicians, food vendors and other artists are still coming and so am I. I don't know if any other farmgirls will still be willing. We'll see...

Posted - Oct 07 2008 : 04:15:07 AM Hi, Mary! We'll be setting up between 9 and 10 and I guess it goes all day and there's to be a dance after the vendors close down. He's calling it the "Dirt Dance" because it's being held off the side of the highway (really BIG turnout) in the dirt.
I really hope we don't get rained out. It would be so much fun to meet up with you and any other gals in your chapter that would like to come.
