Posted - Sep 17 2008 : 03:29:37 AM Do you like them![](icons/icon_smile_question.gif) They are not here, DUH But I tried some last September when I was visiting my bestest girlfriend in the USA.![](icons/icon_smile_clown.gif) I think I had the Pumpkin flavor and another one, vanilla?? I liked them a lot, gave a whole new meaning to coffee lol. I was gonna take a bottle home with me, BUT my suitcases were full to the brim with all my goodies, so no more room for the flavored milk, yikes.![](icons/icon_smile_big.gif)
What is your fave![](icons/icon_smile_question.gif) Inquiring minds you know, lol

Posted - Sep 21 2008 : 07:35:07 AM when these flavors first came out, i really O D'd on them.
amaretto and Irish cream are my favs.
since hubby switched to green tea, the coffee pot is more for tea now
i tend to crave coffees more in the winter these days and coffee is an indulgant than a habit...probably because i love the flavors and a bit of whipped cream too

Posted - Sep 19 2008 : 10:52:28 PM Marian do you know that you can make your coffee taste wonderful if you add some pumpkin pie spice to your coffee grounds along with a bit of vanilla when you brew a pot? Just add some cinammon, nutmeg and vanilla syrup right on top of the grounds before you brew. Your home will smell wonderful and then you can add your plain milk or cream to your coffee without the expense but still have a very nice flavor. Adjust the amount of the spices and flavorings to your taste but a good guess would be a half tsp of cinammon, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg and a tsp of vanilla. Enjoy! I have a recipe for low sugar Cappuccino on my blog site too if you're interested. There's also a recipe for Scripture cake to go with it.

Posted - Sep 19 2008 : 10:20:49 PM Marian.....would you like me to send one of them to you?? I Do know what it is like to live somewhere that you can't get a particular food that you enjoyed from a different part of the country. Years ago when we didn't live in New Mexico, I missed making posole (a type of chile that is traditional to make in the SouthWest) because I really liked making it with posole corn (although you can use hominy). Sooo family & friends used to mail the corn to us or bring it when they came to visit. I'd be glad to "gift" the flavored creamer to you if you don't mind sending some for postage. Just give a holler and it will be on it's way!

Posted - Sep 19 2008 : 7:28:33 PM We like the flavored creamer. When I do not have any I got a tip from a friend once to add a small bit of whipped cream ,drizzle caramel over the top, and then sometimes we even grate some chocolate over the top. Its just lovely.

Posted - Sep 17 2008 : 12:21:08 PM The ameretto is easy enough to make your own-almond extract, sugar, and milk.
The pumpkin spice may be harder, try pumpkin pie spice, milk and sugar though.
I like to get flavored celestial seasonings tea, add a bit of milk, and then you get a nice "flavored" flavor.

Posted - Sep 17 2008 : 06:30:05 AM I love them too. Hazelnut is my favorite followed by French Vanilla and Irish Creme. I'll have to try the Pumpkin. I can't drink my coffee without it. Yesterday morning I got up at 5:15 and made coffee. Got ready to pour my cup and realized we were out of creamer. At 5:30 I was in the car going to the store to buy more creamer - that's bad!

Posted - Sep 17 2008 : 05:20:49 AM Denise we don't :( Amaretto mmmmm sounds yummo too, lol. But guess the Pumpkin spice was my fave of the 2 I tried. My friend told me she loved most of them, lol. Guess I would too, hehe. We are both Gemini, born one week apart, shew is a week older than me. And we grtew up together, but since she married an Anerican she has lived in the USA some 25 yrs. We found out, being apart for years and years, we LOVE many the same things, share a lot of hobbies, read the same kind of books. SO bound to have the same taste in flavored milk too. LOL I have even asked her to send me a bottle, but she is SO busy, hardly has any time for herself.
Ah well, I will get by without it, lol :)

Posted - Sep 17 2008 : 04:53:45 AM I love the flavor, but hate all the nasty chemicals that can be in them. So I will dribble a bit of extract into my cup of coffee. If I am going to be adding milk and sugar anyway it usually amounts to the same effect. :D

Posted - Sep 17 2008 : 04:33:00 AM Marian, I like the flavored creamers. My fave is amaretto. I have cut back on them though as I notice when I do have it the weight seems to creep on easily. Also, a lot of them contain high fructose corn syrup, ( I think there is a topic on that) and so I try to keep my consumption down. So, you don't have those there? hugs,
