I did nothing at all but stitch and cook chicken and dumplings and have a headache, then the day got better. Dear hubby went to get the mail and oh! I'm so excited!!
I got a lovely little purple pin cushion from Monica, my ornament from Sheri (girlwrangler) and my new issue of Mary Jane's!!!

Monica dear, I've erased your email address so I just want to say thanks so much! It is _the_ cutest thing and I can't wait to use it! Gals, her pincushions are just darling! :)

Sheri, the ornament is amazing! I can't wait to hang it on my tree!

I'm off to read my magazine!

It was yummy AngiKay, it smelled so good! Just what I needed and besides it's one of the few chicken dishes that DH eats :)

The rain was wonderful, raind a bit in the evening too. Just what the grass needs right now.
Spent the day cleaning up and throwing out old/broken toys. The downstairs looks much better now! I'vew baked a cake and waiting for it to cool, it smells so great! I think I'm gonna spend the rest of the afternoon stitching and relaxing :)

Elisa, Chicken and Dumplings! YUM! We just whined about not getting any rain. We really need some. I helped DH in his office and today we went to church and are spending the afternoon scrapbooking.

Elise, you had a great "pick me up" today. Today was the frist day that I have stirred around in a week (flu on top of sinus infection) - did not get to work at all this week. The mail man delivered my fall arrangement from Melanie today and it MADE my day too. Guess we both had good "pick me up's".
