Ohhh Marlene....Aren't the songs absolutely fabulous! They just invite you to dance along cause the rhythms are so inviting!!! My understanding is that the term "doo-wop" was taken from syllables sung in harmony in the songs. Such wonderful vocal groups and to see them in concert so many years later is just so heartwarming! I do remember them in their younger days, so to see that they are still performing was such fun! (Do you think they are lip sinking or was it actually their voices???)........Doesn't really matter to me!... cause we just thought they were wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!

OH MY Goodness! The Ink Spots, Mills Brothers, The Orioles! Brought back so many memories and now I understand their is a resurgence of interest in the music because of the PBS Live In Concert shows!......... and the music is also being called "group vocal harmony" sometimes now and includes Rhythm & Blues. It will be on our PBS Channel again next week!

Loved those songs and groups. I have seen that on PBD before
and was so thrilled to hear those songs. I am from the 60's
era as a teenager. But it is so cool to hear all those songs again
great memories.
