Anybody else just waiting for all the squallor? We're expecting some wind and rain sometime after bedtime. Hubbies Birthday is today and he's snoozing already but I see he bought a high caffeine drink for himself and some wine for me. Wonder what he's got in mind for tonight? hehehe.

Man, despite his artistic pretensions, his sophistication, and his many accomplishments, owes his existence to a six inch layer of topsoil and the fact that it rains.

Personally I think the wind is supposed to blow in straight lines if anything at all- so be it hurricane or tornado- No thanks! You'll find me cowering in the mountains!

Tornado's scare me more than hurricanes do.

high wind gust and lots of rain with hurricane. tornado sounds just like a freight train rumbling through..loud!
when you hear one rumbling through..trust me..you'll know.

mostly wind and rain. They are known to spin off tornados but I've never seen those and have no idea what kind of noise that makes.
We're putting the littles down in our room and the bigs in the living room right outside our bedroom door. Nights like this you like to have them close to you. OH, hubby says the caffeine is so he's awake for the storm. The wine I guess was just for niceness, and he brought canolis too so he was just being sweet.

Do hurricanes give lots of thunder or is it mostly howling winds and rain?
