oh chile' .. wouldn't that be fun! ROAD TRIP!
well we did indeed have LOTSA fun! first stop was Cathy Cobblestone's wunnerful wunnerful farm! I ordered a ba-zillion autumn flowers .. told her to choose them for me .. as did luna! AND luna got the mos' magnificent zinc-top table and two chairs .. the bottom of the table and legs and the chairs were the mos' delightful soft hue of peely pink paint!! i swanee .. if she hadn't a bought them .. i'd have grabbed them right up! and as always, that sweet cathy wouldn't let us leave without gifting us some darling X's and O's .. in metal .. we're going to send them to our children!
Then we headed for Pumpkin Joe's .. but never found him .. we were far enuff down the road that i told her 'let's go on to Cave City and Horse Cave!' WELL .. gosh .. i can't remember what luna got there? hmmmm .. mayhaps we didn't buy anything there. (AGAIN .. i only look for certain things to collect now) .. HOWSOME-SOEVER! when we got to Cave City .. Luna found a wonderfully huge primitive . and did i mention HUGE wooden bowl .. she looked at the tag and it was only fifty bucks! i told her she 'might' get a ten percent dealer discount! (Bowls like this usually go for closer to $400.)
well, i heard the woman tell her .. "i'm sorry, but i can only discount it TWENTY-FIVE percent!" HA!!! i looked across the room to see luna's skirt hem to be twirlin' in the air and her underoos to be peekin' out from doin' cartwheels from bein' so overjoyed! she jus' giggled that the woman even 'apologized' for ONLY being able to give her 25%!!
then we walked across the street to the Horse Cave Museum .. Luna has done some 'caving' and was very impressed with this cave. we chose to not go down into it TODAY .. we're gonna' come back with our menfolk soon and all go down there together .. AND .. we also walked around the block to the Kentucky Repertory Theatre. One Man's Lincoln was playing ... we got brochures .. and decided we'd come take the cave tour, see a play and have dinner soon!
what a nice day of roaming beautiful kentucky backroads with a gurlfren .. chattin' the whole way! Gurlfrenz are the BEST! xo

if you and Luna don't mind driving just a LITTLE out of your way I would forgo walking Molly & Rufus as part of my plan for today and go Adventuring to the Antique Stops with you!!! OK....on second thought, maybe it would be a tiny bit to far!!! :) Have Fun!
