That is one great store. Has MaryJane everywhere. I just love it. And that dress she was wearing is so gorgeous. And Stella is getting so big.

Just wanted to say my DH and I visited MJ's shop today on a Couer d'Alene getaway weekend. It was cute and had lots of linens...not quite what I was expecting because I was hoping for her food items (other than chocolate and task bars, there were no others) but in all fairness, it's probably not the type of location where she would likely sell much in the way of food items (tourist "trendy" mall). I think she will do well there and was glad that of the few shops open on a holiday, MJ's was one of them. It was really setup cute.

thank you so very much for sharing the pictures,
looks like a terrific place to visit..but then I knew it would.:)
maybe we'll see plans for expanding to other areas around the nation ??..of course that takes alot of effort/money/and loads of planning..but one can hope that ..maybe... things might progress that way one day.Wouldn't it be fun to have a store nearby where every farm girl could make a trip to..to stock up on all sorts of fun MaryJane products...but get to see the goodies in person?

I dont think Mj will care for me telling this, It was really really early when they were making the pics and they had to get Stella up, well Stella wanted no part of it and let them know so so the only way they could make her pic was backwards, I think she is wearing a little slip that came from me to. I have a wonderful pic of Stella that Meg sent me I have it to where I can go thru everyday and look at it. She has the most thoughtful expression on her face. I know I was definately there in thoughts, I could just picture in my mind how everything would be

Grace how I wish I could have been there, Mj knows me like a book, I think the dress is the one that belonged to a good friend of mine that I told her about. She was going to wear it to her sons wedding, Any way I guess I just as well tell the rest of it, The gown Mj was wearing in the last magazine came from me, also all the samplers came off of my walls, The sampler Meg did is an exact replica of a 1926 sampler I sent Mj, Meg did a fantastic job on the stitches for the new one, That sweet girl has so much talent. And dont Mj look beautiful in the wedding gown. To me the front cover of the Mag, was the prettiest picture I ever saw, Mj was just glowing.those girls are just the right size for the old clothing. Did she tell you the story why Stella had her back turned?

Past Blessings Posted - Aug 30 2008 : 10:40:38 AM
It was absolutely wonderful!! I posted more about it on the "Chapter Chatter" forum under the thread called "Farmgirl Blessings . . . Drinks & MaryJane". It was such a wonderful day. I think the sweetest thing was last night when I looked over at MaryJane and she just had this sweet, calm look on her face. I asked her if she was tired. She smiled warmly and just said, "No, just happy." She really just basks in the happiness of life!

Hugs & blessings,

Brenda

Aunt Jenny, take the Highway North! lol!!!!

It really was 'Farmgirl Eye Candy' & Alee, I could not have said it any better, ....it was Heavenly.

Miss Wilma, if you take a closer look at the pic of Brenda, myself & Julia you'll recognize something on Julia's apron....It was the first thing MaryJane spotted and asked Julia if it was from you.

Julia made her sweet apron that day just to wear to the shop opening. How cool is that!

Oh, & I forgot, the lovely lace dress that MaryJane was wearing,,,it was/is a vintage wedding dress.
The dress' handwork is so beyound beautiful.
I can just see in my mind a young woman or perhaps a proud mother sitting by a dim light day after day stitching this gown with love and talented hands. MaryJane has once again given this beautiful dress life.
