So me and the kiddos are up getting ready for school and work this morning. Just the same as any other day. I put my clothes on, went on to brush my hair and my teeth and all that good stuff. Then I'm standing in the kitchen gathering up my cleaning rags for the day and I feel my pants leg move. Not how your clothes would normally move around you. It started at my knee and got to about my thigh when I grab the little lump and ran screaming to the bedroom. Kicked my shoes off, strated yanking off my britches all the while holding onto this lil lump in my pants. After I got them off I grabbed them by the legs and gave a good shake and this is what came out....

Eeewwww!! UUUUcccccKKKK!!! At first I thought he was a spider. I think I would be more creeped out to have had a spider that size in my pants.

Hope ya'lls day is mouse free!!

That was a great story! I can just imagine! One time I was laying on a hammock in our yard. It was tied to the 2 posts that hold up our porch. Well, a lizard was climbing on the post & decided to jump off. Where do you think it went? Right up my shorts. My DH never laughed so hard as he saw me spin out of the hammock & onto the ground. I'm sure not a pretty site. Now these are geckos which aren't too big, but I sure didn't want it up my shorts! It definitely would have been worse to have a mouse there for sure! Thanks for sharing!

What a good laugh for all of us today! I didn't let it get me down this morning. Kinda gave me the willies for awhile. Still does a lil bit. But mostly now a good rolling laugh. I didn't get bit. Thank goodness!! I would really be freakin out if I had.
Oh yeah Tina, I noticed some tail was missing when I took the pic, but I kinda had to shoo Stormey for a sec so I could get a pic. So i guesss the cat had a bit of snack. LOL

Marly those pants went straight to the laundry and got a different pair out of the closet. Believe me I gave those a good shake before I ever put my toe in.

Hey Brenda! I don't blame you. I would have stripped right there too. I grabbed it from the outside of my pants so I didn't actually touch it. I was thinking whatever is in my britches I don't want it making it's way up to my you know area. So it was stop it right there in it's tracks.

Frannie, ummm I think I had these britches on about 10 15 minutes. You think he would have started moving around when I started putting them on.
Your spider episode is too funny. I'm sure it wasn't when it happened.

Katie, our kitty is an outside kitty. My nose can't tolerate a litter box no matter how clean it is. Actually I snapped the pic just before Stormey started munchin.

Oh my! I'm glad you got him out! I would hav running screaming too. We tend to get spiders, our room is in the basement and this time of year... I HAVE to shake them out. I picked up dh's jean's the other day and this huge one crawled right out near his pocket. I screamed and screamed and finally squished it with a bucket or something. The kids were more scared by my screams than the spider!

blech.. mice and spiders..
Hope the mice stay away from now on!

Had the same thing happen when a wasp flew up my pants leg while I was hanging clothes on the line. I couldn't get my pants unzipped and down one-armed, so I had to call for mom to help! I did get bit, but all in all, I think I'd rather have the wasp than the mouse up my leg! Shake 'em out!

That is soooo funny and then again Not so funny! I can relate. Was standing in front of 50 people, back room of a restraurant, giving a financial seminar. A roach had crawled up my leg and I didn't feel it until it was up there, inside thigh. I had on a dress and out of panic, raised up my dress and started brushing and slapping (like frannie) the inside of my thigh, way up there. I must have put on quite a show. Can't remember if the seminar was a financial success or not. Should have been, can't get a show like that from a Wall Street guy.

ROFLOL!!!!!! I know it is not funny though. I don't think I would have grabbed it. I would have drop my britches right there.

Long ago, my husband and I were riding our bikes on the air base at Barksdale AFB. We were on the road that goes past the flight line. All of a sudden a red wasp flies into my shirt!! Girlfriends, let me tell you that I jumped off my bike and proceeded to strip right there. My hubby was shocked yelling "put your shirt back on!" I was screaming my poor head off! He came to the rescue and killed the wasp and only then did I put my shirt back on. :)

A mouse in my britches would have given me a heart attack right there! Bless you. You were braver than I would have been.

Koodos to you! Why,I wouldn't have had the verve to grab it and pull off my pants. They would have found me dead from fright with a mouse crawling in my unders! You go girl...thanks for the giggle.

oh my gawd! how long had you had these britches on? lordy! i'll be giving my jeans a good shake from now on before puttin' a leg inside of them!

i had a similar situation at WORK one day .. a friend and i had been sitting in the 'courtyard' having a lovely lunch .. when we went back inside .. friend betty screamed: "a BIG SPIDER just crawled down your collar" .. i do believe BREAK-DANCING was invented at that very moment in time! we RAN into an office .. no one was in there .. sooo .. betty was helping me RIP OFF my dress to find the offending ARACHNID .. which, by now, had grown in my imagination to 'gargantuan tarantula' size!!!

oh good grief! an Assistant Attorney General just happened to be passing that office in the hallway when he heard our screams! he came rushing into the office just in time to see Betty slapping every inch of my body as she tore my dress off! We shot him a quick smile .. yelled "ALL IS WELL ... JUST A SPIDER" .. (HA! he made a hasty retreat!) I could never look him straight in the eyes again! (this was when i was a young 'thang' and could be intimidated by 'powerful men'!) HA! i'd have told him to get his butt over here and start slappin' if it happened to me now!

ohhhhhhhhh ICK! i'm still thinking of that mouse up your leg! you didn't get bit did you? HA! probably scared him even more than it scared you!
