Well farmgirls, this is kinda funny in a not so funny way. Unfortunately, I was in a fairly bad car accident last Friday. I had four generations of my family in my vehicle - mom, mamaw, myself, and my son. We were hit by a gentleman who turned into us then sandwiched us in between another. Well, love his heart, it was jus' an accident and everyone made it out o.k. but he was just convinced that I had run a red light. Well, just so you know, I didn't, but what made it look so bad was when the police was takin' pictures - they snapped a shot of the rear of my blazer - proudly displayed was a "Farmgirl - plowin' thru" bumper sticker and the Policeman just kinda snickered. Have to say in this case that "plowin thru" part didn't help me much! Ha Ha I wasn't speedin' though. Oh well, when we get the next vehicle - I have to say - I'll be placing my farmgirl sticker proudly back on there!

I'm thankful we were all o.k. - God was watching after us all that day!
Blessings to everybody, Cathy

Hey Miss Frannie - thanks so much - we are all o.k. - a tad sore - buy hey, that I can recover from. I'll send your well wishes to my mom and mamaw. Our Fall Harvest will be Sept. 27 - please plan to come but if you want mums and such - you'll need to come before then. I wish I could have it earlier but mom is having surgery, my sis is having a baby, 4 birthdays this month, my in-laws 50th, cow days festival - wheewwww - and the list goes on. Punkin' Joe will probably have his stuff ready sometime next week - I'm guessing - hadn't talked to him for a couple of weeks - just call him if you want - I'll e-mail you the number if you need it. Have a great evening - can't wait to your fall gathering - I'll be there!!! Cathy

Oh my!!! I'm so glad you were not hurt, Cathy!!! But, yes, I'm laughing too...even before you said the policeman snickered, I was doing it myself!!! More of a belly laugh, but you get the picture :) And...that oldster, well, he can say it was your fault or whatever, but Kentucky is a "no fault" accident state, and the insurance companies will just have to duke it out. Just glad everyone is safe!

I am so glad that everyone is ok. Car accidents are so very scary. I've been in two as a passenger and thank goodness everyone was ok with those. I love my bumper sticker and will keep one on my vehicle as long as I can drive.

Cathy:
When that officer saw and read the MJ sticker, you should have said, "That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!" LOL Good post.
