Do y'all have weekend plans? My hubby and I are going out to our camp in the swamps to mow and clean-up the inside of the camp. It'll be an all day thing. We will BBQ while we are there. Hope you all have a great, happy weekend!

We are going to the Gillespie County Fair up the road in Fredericksburg, TX. I love to go look at all the exhibits and dream of someday entering myself...next week is our county fair in Kendall County. :O)

Today I am cleaning, then taking Nora to a modeling audition. Doug is taking me out on a date tonight. And then who knows for Sunday?

well, so far we have watched it rain, and then we watched it rain more......since 5 o'clock this morning, we have had 6 inches of rain and it is now 10:45. There was five inches in the gauge at 5 am, so that totals 11 inches so far! Thankfully, we have power. Hope it holds!

Our band is playing at a benefit show called the "Punk Rock Party" on Sunday. Anybody in Rochester, come on down to Echotone Music on South Ave! It's supposed to be a family friendly, all ages show to benefit a Catholic Family Center shelter for battered women.

I wish I could post an image of the poster they are using to promote the show. It's so funny! It's got a hamburger playing the drums, an ear of corn on the cob playing bass, and a hotdog with a big ketchup mohawk on guitar.

I'm with Frannie. We've been running so much lately and school starts Monday. DD is at her dad's this weekend and I'm just gonna have some ME time - sleep in, pig out and stay in my jammies till noon.

I may manage to putter in the yard and would like to get out to a nursery across town that is closing their gift shop. That's about it.

We are going to our great granddaughter's first birthday party. There will be probably 100 people there. And that many presents. We give the great grandkids Savings Bonds for birthday and Christmas. They get so much stuff that we want them to have something that will last a while.

We have a yardsale planned for Saturday. Then Saturday evening, Jeremy and I are taking the kiddos roller skating.
I haven't been in about 15 years. This should be really interesting. LOL
