Does anyone know where I might buy a new wood clothes drying rack? Like the old ones....My Mother used to use one in the winter sometimes when it really was to cold or wet to hang clothes outside. I haven't seen any in stores that I can think of, so I am hoping someone else has.

I'm in the market for at least one of these. I'm going to try our local hardware store, not the big box improvement stores. Hopeful they will have them. Let you'll know.

Marly and Nancy......Thanks so much for your suggestions and comments!

Suzanne ... I never thought about Amish made.....We have a store called The Amish Connection here and I just called and they do carry them. I am going to run up and take a look at them and see if it is one that will work for me.

Miss Wilma .... if the one at the Amish Connection store doesn't work out I will check with you on price and postage! Thought I would try the one at Amish Connection first as it would be lots easier!

Thanks again!

Make sure you get a well made one, I've bought them at walmart and they don't last long...I have seen Amish made that look very well made, they are pricey but well worth it.

lEHMANS- has them. when you get to their site, type in drying rack. They are kind of costly. I got my two at thrift stores.

Audrey:
I see those at flea markets or garage sales every time. I'm in Louisiana. Maybe on one of the esy sites you might find one. A lot of the farmgirls have esy sites. Check them out.
