well gosh .. since we went to Berea .. and watched the Olympic opening .. it's now SATURDAY!

kentucky weather was a tad cooler (yesterday ... Friday) .. and i'm hoping it will be the same when i wake up tomorrow morning!

i'll be back to going through treasures and either pricing them or setting them aside for their 'proper place' ... once the furniture is put back in place.

Sunday .. i gotta' find the pots and pans cuz' kathy and eddy are coming to dinner .. and eddy (who is an electrician) is going to figger out what he needs to move our stove to the other side of the kitchen! i think i'm as excited about that as anything else we are doing in the kitchen.

honey hunk suggested i might want a new stove and fridge .. but unless i get a great 1800's repro .. i'll stick with the ones i have .. which are pretty nice. HOWEVER .. i think i would love to have a 'stackable' washer/dryer .. to make more room in that teeensy little laundry room!

what cha'll planning for this weekend?

Last nite hubby and I went to dinner and then to the movies. This morning it's church, and I got out some steaks to put on the grill. Looks like it's going to be another pretty day so I hope to get outside and enjoy it.

Tomorrow (Sunday) I am going to go with my mom, my boyfriend, and my sisters to the Seattle Art Museum to see the Impressionists exhibit. It will only be here a short while and some amazing painters will be showcased such as the all-important Monet! I'm so excited!

Wwll we went to Tunica Ms today to eat at the new Paula Deen Buffet and play the slots. I am not big into gambling so I put 5$ into a mickle machine and on my third spin won 97.50! I cashed out and quit playing!

To orrow after church I need to mop the floors, clean the bathroom and clean the pantry.

oh betty .. that is good to know! i did see some dooozies yesterday though .. they even 'steam' your clothes it says (less wrinkles it claims) .. should be .. i think they are about a thousand bucks each! i'll definitely ask about the 'power thingie' before deciding to go with stackables! xo

well .. the bedroom is done! (except i have a wonderful olde dollhouse (BIG) that i might put on top of my 'bedside' cupboard! jury is out on that one just yet! ohhh .. i haven't put anything back on the walls .. gonna' wait and maybe jus' put one or two things up! (my walls are usually wall to wall floor to ceiling filled with stuff!)

bathroom is about as done as i want it to be. i like to keep the bathroom somewhat simple. i'm soooo tired of cleaning UNDER futniture .. and except for a cupboard in there .. i won't have to any more!

well .. i took a little break .. gotta' get back to pushin' and shovin'! xo

My son just got rid of his stackable W/D. He said that he could put up with less rooom in his laundry to have full sized W/D. I agree with him. There is not as much power with the stackables as there is with the full size. Now the full size newer ones might be a good bet.

It is raining here again today. Weather report said we may get another 2 inches of rain. Won't hurt except for the guys trying to get their hay put up. I had planned to work outside this morning. maybe between showers. Also going to keep an eye on the Olympics.

It's going to be a pretty day here today, too bad I have floor duty at the real estate office. But at least I'll be off by 3pm so I can enjoy the later afternoon and evening. Don't have any special plans for the day except to enjoy the nice weather and maybe sit out on the back deck and knit.

I'm up really late tonight! Actually it is really already tomorrow!!!! Sooooo guess later this a.m., I head out early for the Beauty Shop (Color and trim....Ha, I only get a trim once in a blue moon because I think I should, but I almost always wear it in a bun/chignon, cause it is about down to my waist)...and then I hope to enjoy a relaxing day working in my gardens some and sewing in my sewing room. Lots of sewing projects going at once.....having fun right now making tooth fairy pillows for my great-nephews (already made one for my great niece)....tomorrow night, dinner and a movie with friends!

Until Later,
Audrey
