The 2008 drummers at the Olympic opening ceremonies? It was amazing! You'll need to search YouTube if you missed it. It was a little long but TOTALLY worth watching!

It was awesome wasnt it . I do wish on shows like that the commercials could be held to the beginning and the end of the program .The asparas were beautiful also

Everything was SO amazing wasn't it!
They TRULY outdid themselves! But I think This is exactly the sort of thing they REALLY
do shine in! The Big Oooohhhh Ahhhhh! Effect.. & just simply breathtaking events!
Dutchy.. I can't remember girl! I THINK I remember their Outfits being JUST ADORABLE
Weren't theirs the ones Girls that had the Long Short pants.. & short sleeve shirts..
Just a Really sweet look? Red & White Maybe..??
They did look Great if that was the one I'm remembering..

I have heard the Dutch YAY YAY were very well dresses etc.

That was the most amazing, beautiful, spectacular opening ceremony I have ever seen. The folks over there must be swelling with pride. Great show!

I was a little saddened that some of the Iraqi athletes couldn't come because their "paperwork" was lost in the political shuffle. I can only imagine how hard they had to work to come.

I watched it and I've never seen anything like it before! Absolutely stunning! The technology was unbelievable. It is the best opening ceremony I've ever seen.

I know there is a lot of contriversy (sp) about China. But they can sure be proud of the performance last night. One of my favorite parts was when the China team marched into the arena. Marching along with Yo was that little boy that had survived the earth quake. Did you hear what they said about him? After surviving the quake, he also saved 2 of his classmates. Someone ask him why he did that, he said that was his job because he was a team leader or something like that. I guess everybody in China arn't bad guys. |

Ohhh Julie....I Surely Did Watch and I Surely Did think it was a totally Spectacular Opening!! Definately think it was the Best I've seen! Already mentioned it on another post but thought it was sooooo Good that I felt it deserved two postings!!! :)

julie .. great minds think along the same paths .. i also posted about the Olympic Opening! i DID .. however, walk into the room too late to see the drummers .. but my daughter 'taped it' .. and will show it to me when we go to toledo .. hank said it was phenomenal! (as was the entire opening program!) xo
