Oh MY GOSH!!! I was sooooo excited with the Sunflower Seeds and the ADORABLE BAG, I didn't examine it until you said "you can use her face for pins and needles"!!!!!! I just looked inside and realized you had pinned the face on to the bag!!!!! You have thought of EVERYTHING!!!

I am DEFINATELY going to use her little face for pins when I am sewing!!!! It will have a special place on my sew table!!! (Funny, my Dear Mother used to put the pins in her mouth too....I don't, cause it kind of worries me I'll start talking and forget they are there!!)....... And using the bag for little travel things or little travel sewing kit.....OH MY GOSH (again!)!!!!!!....YOU HAVE REALLY thought of everything Frannie!! Sooooooooo Adorable!!!

Frannie.....this would definately be a FABULOUS idea for you to use for a little Class you might want to give....................REALLY A CUTE idea!!!!!!!!! Everyone would love doing them!

Yes Frannie.....I do have a few old wood buckets (some of the things I mentioned that I love)....the wooden cabinet on the wall is a spice cabinet which has little things in it like our corn skewers, etc.....And the Cabinet the bucket and Sunflower bag is pictured on is a wonderful Pie Safe that I keep alot of my extra spices....cooking oil (Olive Oil, etc.)in. I do have another spice rack with the spices I use even more daily on another hanging rack in another part of the kitchen.

Until Later,
Audrey

ohhh .. she is so easy to make .. gurlz .. just get a nice heavy fabric and make a 'bag' (sew up three sides) .. i didn't even 'hem the top on these .. but you can .. and then run a string through the hem to pull it tight'.

for the dolly .. jus' make a 'potato shape' head .. sew it all up (except the 'top' so you can stuff her) .. you will stuff and handstitch the the opening then sew 'hair' .. over that spot so it won't show.

BE SURE TO 'stain' your fabric after sewing the head and turning it but before stuffing it. use tea or coffe or RIT TAN dye. (make up a BUNCH of these for gifts for all your friends who sew. FAST AND EASY!)

stuff the face .. cut out a 'nose' from your chosen fabric .. you don't even have to 'hem' this .. it's PRIMITIVE!

then sew on two 'button' eyes. sew a little stitched mouth .. sew her hair on last. PIN her to the bag so you can take her off to 'wear' if you want.

VOILA! all done!

ohhhh .. wait .. STRING some great buttons on a cord and attach it to the 'tie'.

i'm so glad you like her gurlfren!!! xo

p.s. you can use her little face for 'pins' and needles' .. (i usually just put them in her mouth .. like i remember my nannie doing .. i usta' wonder why she didn't swallow one!) .. and fill the bag with buttons, threads, little scissors, etc. etc. ... makes a great little 'travelling' sewie bag. (you of course, can make the bag as BIG as you want .. just use a HEAVY fabric to hold your goodies.

xoxo
