what'cha' up to today? it's so beautiful and sunny here in kentucky .. gonna' have some mornin' coffee on the porch .. then take a little walk in the woods with the honey-man .. then choose the paint colors for the floors (brought home LOTS of color chips!) then re-decorate the YARD .. took everything off the barn and 'summer kitchen' for the new paint job .. gonna' keep it clearer and cleaner-lined i think. (ha! THINK bein' the operative word there!) got more plants yesterday to plant in the gardens .. have to start moving BIG furniture out of rooms and SCRUB the floors before they are painted.

want to re-paint some yard treasures .. paint is getting shabby lookin'. if it was ORIGINAL paint .. i would, of course, leave it alone!

want to start PRICING stuff in that huge pile that has now moved to the FRONT porch .. so i can take it to glovers station tomorrow!

later, honey-man and i are going to e-town for paint, dinner and a movie!

what you got planned for today?

Frannie, Mamma Mia was GREAT! I've seen the musical, but I wasn't sure about Meryl Streep in the main role, well was I surprised :) She was a super singer. When she and her 'Dynamos' sang Money, Money, Money on that yacht, I just about died it was so funny :)

Surprisingly, the fella didn't mind it at all, he thought it was really funny! He'll never watch James Bond again without thinking about Pierce Brosnan singing away though, lol.

Great stuff!

DH and I got up early and put a turkey in the oven. We go out for breakfast twice a month on Sunday whether we need it or not?!!!!! Then we went to Barnes and Noble. Came home, hung out a load of towels, cleaned the car out, vacuumed, watered my flowers on the porches, and am awaiting the arrival of our gang to eat a nice Sunday dinner together. Have a pleasant day everyone! Susan

Well I was going to go to church this morning, but I didn't crawl out of bed in time. Seeeing as I have't had an actual nights sleep in 2 weeks I wasn't going to force my hiney out of bed. I feel soooo much better, so rested. I woke up once or twice last night but went right back to sleep.

Now to figure out what I will do with the rest of my day. I found some old crafting books the other day. They're pretty dirty. Maybe I get them cleaned up and see just what I have for sure.

I really need to mop the kitchen floor and get the laundry caught up. Maybe I can muster up enough energy to get that done.

Oh and I need to get the rest of my yardsale stuff marked for my sister's sale this weekend. Oh my store is going on hold till after the weekend.

There is an arrangement that I have been wanting to make for I don't know how long now and then of course I have Christmas presents I'm making that I need to work on.

I really hope I don't look at this later. It's such a nice day to lay around and do nothing. I'll be terribly upset with myelf for not getting anything accomplished.

I am going to be cleaning today- house and yard. I already disinfected my kitchen as I found evidence of a little mouse or two running around at night. Traps are set and ready to spring! Ugh.

I saw the movie Mamma Mia the other night what a fun movie that was. I wasn't expecting a musical but it was really fun.

So far, the fella and I got up early and took a stroll through the orchard to the ridge - found a wild plum tree. Boy are they sure sweet! Later we're off to a matinee of Mamma Mia! Yay!

I've got to clean some canning jars too. Mum and I are having a pickling day tomorrow :)
