Posted - Aug 02 2008 : 06:12:09 AM It really is too bad because it looked like a nice semi- The paint seemed nice and fresh. I wonder if it was new?

Posted - Aug 01 2008 : 7:38:51 PM Well, I talked with the Fire Department while I was gassing up my car. Sure enough. The guy was trying to fly around a corner and laid his rig over on it's side!

Posted - Aug 01 2008 : 6:01:36 PM more that liklely they were going to fast for the corner and the load shifted and over they go.
Just one more reason to be more aware that there are times the truck has no idea if your right behind or on either side there is just to clear view.

Posted - Aug 01 2008 : 3:35:57 PM That is too bad. You know, I can't believe how many semis flipped on their side I have seen recently. They seem to be having this happen a lot around here.

Posted - Aug 01 2008 : 2:48:31 PM Chelsey- I will check the local news reports tonight to see. I just saw the wreck, but I assume that the driver was okay as there wasn't any ambulance around. But then again I have no idea how long it had been there before we came along.

Posted - Aug 01 2008 : 1:02:51 PM Diana- Any guess as to why a Semi would tip over on a normal city street like that? Speed limit 35?

Posted - Aug 01 2008 : 12:51:09 PM As I own some of these type of trucks this would have really made my day BAD.

But I always tell the drivers I can replace equipment but I can't replace you, But be safe.

Posted - Aug 01 2008 : 12:12:02 PM Right in front of the Salad place we ate at... On King's Ave West right before the Overpass. The Semi was headed to go onto the overpass and must have taken the corner too tight. I never saw an ambulance so I assume no one was hurt.
