Posted - Jul 31 2008 : 4:54:28 PM Have you ever had a chance to do something that you realize will change the course of your life forever? It's the kind of thing you just "break-up" with you old life, to go and make a new life. It's happening to us. My head is spinning. I scared. Not afraid because I am doing the wrong thing, but scared because we are making a huge change. It will be for the better. For our family and our future. I can't wait to share more with you as I can.

Posted - Jul 31 2008 : 6:19:40 PM Yup! We just moved, changed jobs and changed the direction of our lives- it's scary, wonderful, bittersweet, happy and a whole other rainbow of emotions all rolled into one. Be wary of the emotional roller coaster! It's normal. Perhaps it's a process we need to go through when we make such a huge change.

Posted - Jul 31 2008 : 6:13:56 PM I'll be doing the same thing here soon ..we have lived in the same town for 18 yrs and decided that we all are more than ready for a change now. So..we decided to work on fixing up this home and placing it on the market come Jan. and moving to the town where my husband grew up. Now for me..that is a big change as I grew up in a small southern town, and this new place is a larger city than what we currently live in..but I'm hoping that we can find a place rural enough/or with a large enough yard not to feel like we are "in the city" After having lived in this present home for 8 yrs..there are some aspects of it that I will miss..and yes I am a wee bit scared of going to a new area where the only folks I know are my inlaws and a couple of my mom in laws pals from her beauty salon ownership days..and those folks I only know as "acquaintances". So..yeah..I'm kind of in the same boat soon. but..I think I'm going to enjoy the journey. the new town offers so very much more for my children and for us as a family. So..it will be a good thing.
