A philosphy, a way of life, a way of seeing, a way of being

- a smile in my heart to give to each I meet today
- two strong arms to help accomplish the chores of the day - yet
tender, too, for hugs for the grandchildren
- Columbine plants to put into pots to take to the Farmer's Market
- Hen and Chick plants that will get potted, too, to go to the
market
- a pale yellow curtain I found tucked away that will be made into a
gardening arpon

What do you have in your HAND?

A forkful of Banana Cream Pie and the computer mouse. Oh, my!! Wait.......
Good night above! We are having a heavy thunderstorm and lightening just hit our grill in the back yard!! Yikes.
Other than that, I have had my hands full of my son's belongings, packing them up to move them under our house to stay until he finds a "permanent" place in the Army.

- a scrub brush to clean out the green compost bin
- library books to teach me about preserving and root-cellaring
- a chef's knife, to chop and prepare meals for my family
- my apron, to dry my hands with after all the chores get done
- a teacup, a grin, a laugh, and happy farmgirl thoughts :)

What a neat thought!
- zucchini in my hands today, to make bread and cake.
- clean laundry
- vintage feedsack fabric to start a dress with later
- thoughts of the weekend to come, camping with my family, and visiting an aunt who meant a lot to me as a child and who is now nearing the end of her life

A tender word for mother.
A wooden spoon to stir her cookies.
A clothespin to finish hanging the laundry after the cookies are in the oven.
A needle to sew my sisters wedding dress.
A prayer that everyone I meet today has as wonderful a day as I'm having.
Blessings.

Let's dance in the rain and play in the puddles under the rainbows.

A smoothie to nourish my body as I chase around my chillin's today.. a needle threaded with embroidery thread as I work on a new design... a box to fill with our treasures to move with.. an aspirin to take away the headache that comes from being woke up at 4:30 am by 2 wittle rascals who decided they didn't want to sleep anymore..

Blessings, Debra
