Posted - Jul 30 2008 : 3:07:55 PM I'm a senior. Course I have been for years now. I'm working slowly on those last few classes, between work and everything else. I took this summer off and enjoyed that. I start again in the fall with one or two classes. Figure as long as I graduate it doesn't matter that I'm over 40! ha

Posted - Jul 30 2008 : 11:34:40 AM I teach middle school - grades 7 and 8 (actually, we "loop" in my building, which means I'll be teaching my last year's 7th graders as this fall's 8th graders). I personally finished my master's degree many years ago, but lately have had the itch to go back and work on another one, or maybe try a PhD program.

Posted - Jul 30 2008 : 09:43:39 AM I teach high school English and Spanish, grades 9-11. My daughter will be going into 3rd grade this year. I'm waffling about going for my doctorate. I think I'll wait until my daughter is older. I don't want to miss moments. :)

Posted - Jul 30 2008 : 08:38:57 AM I'm a MA plus. I'm about 10 credits away from an Education Specialist in Special Education Administration. I am a Teacher Consultant grades 7-12 for special education. I'm doing the one class at a time thing too. I have a sophomore in HS and a 3rd grader this year. The rest of my schooling is going slow in case the oldest wants to go too!

Posted - Jul 30 2008 : 04:00:55 AM I'm working on my master's degree. If I get the paper finished that is due on Friday and turned in I will have 2 classes down and 9 more to go. I'm taking 1 class at a time so who knows when I will graduate. My oldest is entering her sophmore/junior year of college and my little one will be starting 4th grade.

Posted - Jul 29 2008 : 9:07:00 PM I will be starting my sophomore year next month, going for a bachelor in Health Science with an educational emphasis as well as a minor in business management, entrepreneurship. I am also interested in writing, so I may throw in some upper level writing classes. I am trying to beat Social Security so we'll see what happens. If someone would have told me I would be taking on student loans just a few years before I was able to start collecting social security, I would have laughed at them, but here I am doing just that and, on top of that, I still want a farm!!

Posted - Jul 29 2008 : 6:09:07 PM Actually, I am a senior....when I go back. I started college at the age of 48 with my twin girls. We moved up here when I was a jr., fell, broke my arm, had two surgeries, and haven't gone back. I do plan to, though. I may be the oldest one in the graduating class, but I will do it! Susan |
