Yes, they came to Louisville today and taught me something about my home town. I visited a warehouse in one of the worst parts of town(when I pulled up next to Sterl and Wilma, I leaned over and said to her: "Don't EVER be here after dark! Really, I'm not kidding!"
We walked behind a huge empty building, around a corner or two(we could have been killed, cut up and buried under concrete and nobody would have known what happened to any of us). Finally, we came to a door with a bell. Wilma looked in and then hit the buzzer. A man let us in. It was as dark as Mammoth Cave when they turn out the lights and talk about Floyd Collins to scare the greenhorns. Wilma was picking up some material. Material? Here? Yes, as it turned out, this place housed imported 'antiques' by the score! Pallettes, boxes, crates, sitting on the floor, everywhere you turned! Wilma showed me one pallette full of things made of old wood, but they were new. The place was so old, the freight elevator was made of wooden slats. And hot! I sure had a lunchtime adventure! Thanks, Wilma and Sterl! My boss' jaw dropped to the floor when I told him all about this place! I think he wants to go there!

Sandra - I'm afraid my Buster the ruff tuff(cream puff-LOL) pit bull would be the same way. Just a scratch behind the ears or a back rub and he's your pal.

Miss Wilam....No rush about the shirt....you're so sweet to share and let me buy one....as for the dog...next time you could take my Rottweiler...unfortunately she's not the mean kind but some people are still frightened of her until they get close and she wiggles and wiggles with joy to see them! LOL! She's afraid of the dark too...hates to go out at night and if she does she "goes" right by the back door and then right back in....I guess she wouldn't be much protection after all but I always hope that she would "be there" if I really needed her?!?
HAve a great day everyone..I'm off to Walmart & ALco today...just can't put it off any longer!

Now Carol Sue this place was so bad, the owner had a cute little sport car pulled in between the buildings evidently to keep someone from stealing it, also he walked around in the building with a huge dog on the leash.IT had such a criminal feeling I turned around to Janice and said MAFIA. Anyway anyway we had a fun lunch I will tell you about it later, gotta go deliver some furniture and buy another freezer

Miss Wilma you are a stitch!!! And BRAVE too! I have more guts than brains most times...once I was in Chicago and a man walked by my husband and I and said some dirty stuff to me and I turned around and gave him a piece of my mind while my husband kept saying "No, Sam...he might have a knife"! LOL....I was so mad the guy took one look at me and started running the other way! I tell ya...that Irish temper comes in handy at times but it probably was pretty stupid but I don't take kindly to rudeness or bullies. I have a feeling no one would "mess" with you either Miss Wilma! You Go Girlfriend!

Janice we finally made it home, I went to visit my doll lady friend, I just gotta take you there,She has a room that is packed with nothing but the old German and French dolls,Well while I was there we got to talking about doll clothes and she has a friend that is willing to pay 150.00 for me to make fancy doll clothing., I am definately interested but I cant until after I get all this CHRISTMAS STUFF DONE. now GIRLS there reason to be afraid of the dark.Actually I thought it was something out of a bad movie, I thought when we came out what kind of a fool would walk into a place like that and let them lock the door behind us, I guess that just goes to show you I will go to any extremes to buy textiles
