Posted - Jul 26 2008 : 10:27:39 AM My mom called yesterday to say that her neighbor just put a little travel trailer out at the road - for sale - she said it looked to be just about the size of ours. I checked it out today while delivering and picking up little ones from sleep overs. I know that so many of you are searching for these. This one is in great condition.
It is a '72 Tag a Long. The it was stored in a barn for all but about 3 1/2 years of it's life. The owner is the 3rd owner and he has all of the manuals. I took photos and if you are interested in speaking to the owner about it, e-mail me and I'll pass on their info. They are asking $2,200 for it. It is really in great condition and looks as though it just needs personal touches. Here are the photos: http://picasaweb.google.com/FORRESTERFARM/TravelTrailerForSale
In the meantime, my sweet man is sanding the interior of our recent purchase. I added photos.... http://picasaweb.google.com/FORRESTERFARM/VariousPhotos More photos to come soon. Off to continue sewing cushion covers.
Enjoy

Posted - Jul 27 2008 : 1:10:26 PM Guess what, my friend Karla just bought it. She's headed over to my house to tell me all about it. Here is Karla's site to see future trailer plans.... www.myspace.com/karlasplaceofholland
Frannie, I'd love to be there for your Gatherin'! The KY co called my main man again on Friday to see what is happening with the house. I feel as though I'm in the Dr. Suess book - Oh the Places you will Go - and I'm on the waiting page!!!!

Posted - Jul 26 2008 : 3:39:46 PM ann .. i've put my desire for a travel trailer on the 'back burner' .. cuz' i want to get my 'tree house' built first .. and while i think it would be a lot of fun to join the 'travel gurlz' .. i don't want to haul it anywhere .. i wouldn't take 'the man' on these trips .. and i am surely not comfy dragging anything behind a truck.
it's a cutie though! at that price .. i don't think it will last long (if the 'guts' are good in it). xo
hey .. why don't you head down here for our Kentucky Gurlfrenz Gatherin'!! xo

Posted - Jul 26 2008 : 2:22:25 PM If anyone makes a road trip to pick it up - we could have a Farmgirl Gathering - and a bouquet of flowers for the trip home.
Katie-ell - the flowers were from my garden for a wedding. Glad you liked them. The bride was so happy too. She wanted something simple like what she has seen from me at the farmer's market. It was perfect for the setting she was at too.
