Posted - Jul 25 2008 : 07:44:21 AM Hi girls,
Yesterday I received an email, supposedly from UPS, saying that I had recently sent a parcel that was undeliverable, and it had an attachment of the "invoice" that I was supposed to open.
DO NOT OPEN THIS if you get it! Suspecting that it was something bad (it is a zip file and I never use UPS) I entered the tracking number on UPS's website, and of course, it was not valid.
Here is a link to more info about this very real virus:

Just wanted to give everyone the heads-up on this one!

Posted - Jul 26 2008 : 06:50:55 AM I had not heard about the Hallmark one, thanks. Don't people have anything better to do, than send out malicious emails? Someone here at my work thinks it's repair people drumming up business!

Posted - Jul 26 2008 : 06:14:56 AM There is that one and the "Hallmark" virus that is going around. Two of the big KY school systems got affected with it. It looks like you have a Hallmark greeting card, but instead it is a virus.
Be careful what you open and keep your virus scanner thingie up to date. :)

Posted - Jul 25 2008 : 07:51:28 AM Thanks, Laurie...I've been getting those for weeks now and forward them to UPS's scam alert so they can deal with it. I finally did stop getting them last week or so.
Good reminder!
