Posted - Jul 24 2008 : 09:50:05 AM My spoiled cat gets a dab of tuna fish a few times a day for a treat so I usually get the cheapest kind which is Walmart's house label. I went to open it today and I thought to myself "Is this can seems smaller" I looked at a old can and yup the old one is 6 oz. the new one 5 oz! I'd rather pay a little more and get the normal can. So many recipes will say can of this or a can of that and now the can size is all different. JoAnn |

Posted - Jul 24 2008 : 4:55:14 PM Take a look at the newer ice cream tubs...I thought they looked smaller and yep, they are! Price is the same but you get less. The only thing they super size anymore is el-yukko fast food.

Posted - Jul 24 2008 : 3:56:52 PM Food shopping is just plain frustrating. I dont buy any "goodies" and make most of my own from scratch, but even still my food bill has gone up up up. |

Posted - Jul 24 2008 : 09:58:05 AM yes. I know what you mean. My son works in a grocery store as the night stockman. He told me all the company's are doing this! Seems the companies didn't think we'd notice an ounce here or there. My son told me it's happening all over the store so I guess we'll all have to keep our eyes peeled on those labels.
