Had a great time with my brother and his wife. Did all kinds of things. Joanne just loved my thift store, she says its the best she has ever seen. They are from S.C. Must say she went a bit crazy. I bought a few things, and posted all new pictures today.

KARIN,
That JAM SOUNDS YUMMY! Unless I go to the store I don't have even one berry to shove in my mouth. I love seeing all the jars lined up after canning.

Nancy Jo, You certainly did well at the thrift again, and the stein that was a gift from family is really stunning. Such nice strong color, and pattern. I have been staying away from the thrift stores, I have been picking raspberries and I made ten little jars of jam today, from my own berries. It is so good, and the first time I've had enough berries to do something besides just shove them into my mouth.

Glad to have you back. Carry on,

Karin

Nancy Jo- I kind of 'borrowed' your idea about putting buttons in a big blue Mason jar. Only I'm using shells. It was seashell day at the thrift store last week-two big jars. The Mason jar still isn't full yet, though. But it looks pretty. :)

Yes, I thought later that if we came to inspect your attic while you were at the thrift, we would not get to see your lovely face! Did you give your company some treasures? Or just light a thrift fire under her? :)

Each time I go to the consignment shop (what they are called here) I am taking stuff not getting. Tomorrow, I have a load to go. I am saying to myself.....self, it will be a lot easier on you if you get rid of stuff. And I find it very freeing. Not that I don't enjoy seeing others collect!!!! I am living vicariously through those of you who still are gathering treasures.....

Keep it up Nancy Jo, and let us in on everything!!!

Nancy Jo - have not looked yet, but am going there directly. Just wanted to say hello and I am glad you enjoyed your company, and when you said she enjoyed your thrift, for a split second, I thought you meant the stuff you have in your attic!!!! NAncy Jo's Thrift! :)

We have missed you!

I'm afraid you may actually be a salt and pepper collector, Nancy Jo. Remember when Mary Beth said she didn't collect pourers? It just kind of sneaks up on you. I think they've 'gotcha' now. The old child's cup is my favorite, though. The cannister is pretty. It has a rolling pin on it. ;) That goes with your rolling pin collection! :D
