Posted - Jul 23 2008 : 09:39:41 AM I just had ceramic tile put my kitchen. I don't know anything about it except I love it. What do you do when you mop? Do you use anything special to make it shine.? Sorry such a dumb question but my neighbor said now all you need to do is use ..... to make it really shine. I wasn't here and didn't want to sound stupid by asking So I don't know what he was talking about. Thanks for the help. Laura

Posted - Jul 23 2008 : 10:14:14 AM I'll have to ask my mom, Laura...she has a celadon green ceramic tile floor, and I know she used a wet mop, but whether she uses anything to "clean" it, I'm not sure. Every now and again she'll use a grout cleaner. The only advice I have, though, from personal experienced, is for goodness sake don't drop anything that you love (that's ceramic/pottery, etc..) on it!!! Wow, I've never seen so many pieces!!!!

Posted - Jul 23 2008 : 10:10:19 AM Some people use Mop and Glo to put some extra shine down. However since the tile is new and if you want to clean without chemicals- I would suggest just mopping with vinegar water! It works like a charm!
