I just had ceramic tile put my kitchen. I don't know anything about it except I love it. What do you do when you mop? Do you use anything special to make it shine.? Sorry such a dumb question but my neighbor said now all you need to do is use ..... to make it really shine. I wasn't here and didn't want to sound stupid by asking So I don't know what he was talking about. Thanks for the help. Laura

I'll have to ask my mom, Laura...she has a celadon green ceramic tile floor, and I know she used a wet mop, but whether she uses anything to "clean" it, I'm not sure. Every now and again she'll use a grout cleaner. The only advice I have, though, from personal experienced, is for goodness sake don't drop anything that you love (that's ceramic/pottery, etc..) on it!!! Wow, I've never seen so many pieces!!!!

Some people use Mop and Glo to put some extra shine down. However since the tile is new and if you want to clean without chemicals- I would suggest just mopping with vinegar water! It works like a charm!
