GURLZ .. NOW THAT WE HAVE OUR 'WINNERS' FOR BEING numbers 99/100/101 in posting what we are grateful for .. i changed the 'heading' in this topic .. i would love to see it 'continue on' every day of our lives! i so much enjoy hearing what we are all grateful for .. sometimes it is the 'biggies' .. and so very often it is the 'small things' tht come our way. when something touches our hearts and we are blessed .. please share it here.

Despite the 'valleys' in this journey through life that we travel through .. they can 'teach' us and we can grow stronger to get back to the 'mountain-tops'.

================================

tell us what you love and are thankful for about LIFE .. will get a 'prize' from the 'treasure pile' i have heaped in my cabin! (i'll post a picture as we get closer to the 100th posting!) ha! this ought to be fun and interesting!

you CAN post more than once .. but NEVER twice in a row .. keep tellin' us and tellin' us something that you are thankful for in your life.

AND .. ya' gotta' read what the other gurlz have posted (you can make your answer short and sweet) .. cuz' .. to make it even MORE interesting .. you can't give the same answer that someone else gave.

this is a fun way to think about all we are grateful for!

(remember don't post twice in a row .. cuz' it'll skip you and go to the next person)

this counts as post # ONE ..

i'm thankful to maryjane for making it possible for us to all get to know one another.

i am soooo grateful for my nannie .. who has now gone to heaven .. but gave up her life-plans and walked down another path to raise my brother, sister and me. like hank always says about her: she walked the walk .. she talked the talk! what a sweet, kind, wise woman! xo

I have so much to be thankful for - my 2 beautiful children, my loving parents and grandmother, my little home with a huge backyard to put a garden in, my 3 cats that provide me with so much entertainment and enjoyment, friends to spend time with, and getting to finally go to college 35 years after graduating from high school!! And I can't forget finding this lovely place - MaryJanesFarm!!

Debra - can't little ones scare you to pieces? Thank the Lord he's okay! You didn't need those doors anyway!

I have another thankful thing! My daughter got a job delivering mail for the post office (which her twin sis already does) and she is being given her own little jeep to deliver the mail in! Yahoo! Susan

I am thankful that when my 4.5 year old decided to reach up and pull open the door on the top of the hutch- thus pulling the whole top down on top of him that it was empty except for one lone small pyrex bowl that broke (if it had been full he would have been hurt badly and I would have lost many a vintage piece of chini- though my biggest concern would be for him), that even though he totally broke off one door exposing the glass that he didn't get cut nor did the glass shatter.. That though the thing fell on top of him he walked away without being hurt at all.. And... that after I took the doors off because one is broke and I don't want this to happen again- it actually looks better without the doors.. Much better.

Blessings, Debra
