Today has been an amazing day!
I was offered the job of my dreams at a salary higher than I've ever made in my life plus acoach house to live in rent free!

Here's the kicker...I start on Wednesday! Aaargghh.
I'm sitting here in my messy room in my bra and undies with no clue whatsoever of what to pack or where to start.

How exciting is this?

Do you also know what this means ladies? I can come for that gathering in October!

YIPPEE!!

oh thank you all so much!
My new position is as a House Manager/Personal Assistant on an estate in the North Shore of Chicago. I will be in charge of all things related to the home. Seriously, my job is like being paid to be a wife! It's so awesome!
And I'm beyond thrilled that I'll be so close to Kentucky too!
Tracy you cracked me up! And thanks for the advice Annika. I'm packing for work and play and for my 30 year high school reunion, which I'm going to straight from Chicago next week. It's in Seattle, so the climates will be a bit different. So far, I'm doing pretty good. Packing primarily for hot weather with a few long sleeves and light sweaters thrown in for good measure.
Oh, I almost forgot Miss Wilma, I have been known to shake my booty a time or two, so the answer to your question is a big YES...I can definetely dance.
Thanks again for all the warm fuzzies!
I love you guys!

Don't pack all of your clothes Think in order of importance, what you will need first and all else follows in packing. May I add my congratulations =) I hope that it is a great job for you and that you love it.
