Posted - Jul 25 2008 : 06:06:46 AM I LOVE "The Color Purple"...and watch it several times a year. I always have myself a Mimosa when Miss Celie is on the train thinking of her sister Neddy. When Sug sings "Miss Celie's Blues" to Celie is a favorite part too. Just a wonderful movie... Also love "The Shawshank Redemption"....

Posted - Jul 21 2008 : 7:01:47 PM Hmm... My favorite movie seems to change each year! But... I have to say... I ABSOLUTELY ADORE "Romancing the Stone" with Kathleen Turner and Michael Dougless. I mean, what woman DOESN'T dream of adventure and meeting the ulimate Manly-man Hero figure? ... sigh...
I also love "Pearl Harbour" & "Titanic." I watch those over and over again. Oh, and also, the sweetest love story EVER! "The Blue Lagoon." Wouldn't you just LOVE to be on a desert island with your one true love and no one else around? I know I would!!

Posted - Jul 21 2008 : 6:24:50 PM Good ones! Mr. Blandings is hilarious, I agree. Princess Bride is classic, of course. There's always Gone with the Wind, and Casablanca, too. But my favorite just may be the newcomer 'Enchanted'. I can't stop watching it! My DH and I sing along and quote lines from it constantly. ;)
