Posted - Jul 22 2008 : 2:24:06 PM Though it's fun to fantasize about doing something so awesome the "world" would be inspired by it (like inventing real flubber) but it's the character that I hope people remember...and I don't mean they would be saying "boy, she was quite a character! huh?"

Posted - Jul 22 2008 : 07:16:42 AM It depends on what you consider an accomplishment...I had a hard time getting pregnant, so the two times I did, it was a lot of work and patience, mixed in with a lot of love. I consider both my babies to be the fruit of something I accomplished, and I am super proud of my kiddos! BUT, accomplishments for fame, then I would choose character.

Posted - Jul 21 2008 : 9:47:05 PM Ah.. Jessie... great Pen Pal minds think alike, don't they? (even though I've been a TERRIBLE pen pal so far! but I've got a letter ALMOST ready to go!)
I'd rather be rememberd for my Character as well. Not everyone will have their name in lights. We won't all make it into the history books or be remembered for some daring deed, but we ALL have our characters to see us through life. When we die, what is it that people remember the most about us? Our true character-- which in turn means our true self. The good, the bad, and the UGLY-- whichever one we choose.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. ~~ George Carlin |

Posted - Jul 21 2008 : 8:56:10 PM hmm..id have to say character...not boastful though, just proud. accomplishments are monetary, when you are gone they could remember what you did, but if to be remembered for who you are..thats a whole other kind of pride.

Children seldom misquote you. In fact, they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn't have said.
