Children seldom misquote you. In fact, they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn't have said.

Posted - Jul 21 2008 : 8:25:16 PM Friends are like snowflakes-- each one is different, yet no less special than the others.
There's that ONE friend you can tell ANYTHING to. Wild horses, nor Chinese water torture, OR bamboo hammered under her fingernails will drag anything out of HER! There's the one you know you CAN'T tell your deepest, darkest secrets to because she'll blab, but if you needed someone to bail you out of jail (for whatever reason...) she'd be right there with the checkbook paying your bail (or else she'd be sitting on the bench beside you in the same cell!!!). And then there's the one who's always got the hankies ready and the shoulder to cry on when you need it. No words, just a sympathetic ear and a tight hug.
All my friends are different and I love each of them for who they are and the blessings they bring to my life. But there is ONE thing each of them will do without question-- If I had a booger hanging out my nose, or my skirt was tucked in my pantyhose, or I had a toilet seat cover sticking out of my pants they'd tell me before anyone else saw me! (LOL) Honesty, truthfulness and helping you avoid embarrassing situations are definitely the mark of a TRUE friend!!
