Posted - Jul 18 2008 : 08:04:45 AM Hi ladies!
I need your help! I need to go get my hair cut and they alway ask "What do you want it to look like?" Panic! Ack! Uhm.... I thought you were the hair dresser?
Soooo....to stave off the weird looks I get when I say I want them to decide....can you post a picture of a haircut you think would look good on a girl with long hair and a round face...I have bangs too. :D I don't want to loose too much length, but layers and structure is okay.

Posted - Jul 20 2008 : 6:35:15 PM :) Awesome. Get a good fat round-brush and you can dry it into fabulous bouncy waves--then you just hit the bangs with the flat iron and you're good to go!

Posted - Jul 18 2008 : 11:27:42 AM I'll post a pic of my new haircut after my emergency trip. I really like it. My hair used to go down to the top band of my pants. She took off 4 inches and razor cut feathery layers in. My hair has a natural wave so it is almost curly now! I love it!
My bangs don't blend in, but that's okay and if I use a flat iron on my hair- it will look a lot like Ms. Barrymore up above! :D

Posted - Jul 18 2008 : 09:43:49 AM I think that would suit your face very nicely. Are your bangs long enough to blend in?

Posted - Jul 18 2008 : 08:53:54 AM Two of my daughters have their hair styled like that Alee and I really like it. It looks feminine, can still be pulled up for work and yet looks trendy at the same time.
My only suggestion is get a style that is somewhat long...that way if you don't like it you can always get it cut a little shorter, you don't have to go through a painful growing out phase with a style you hate!

Posted - Jul 18 2008 : 08:47:24 AM I was getting ready to say something along the lines of that haircut or one like Jennifer Aniston. You could always go for a mullet - party on the front, business in the back. Teehee. JUST KIDDING!!
Layers around the face and a length that you can always pull back in a ponytail if needed.
My hair has always been pretty short with spikes in the back. So I don't know much about "long" hair.

Posted - Jul 18 2008 : 08:31:34 AM I have a round face but my hair is very short and simple. Inverted bob maybe, just something shorter for the remainder of summer?? Or lots of fun layers to give a more huggable to the head style with length?? I stink at this....: (

Posted - Jul 18 2008 : 08:13:02 AM That's so hard, Alee. I used to have a hairdresser in NY that I would tell her "something easy" or "something professional looking" and she was just MARVELOUS at it! But those kind of hairdressers are hard to find. I know there are some places that have a computer program that they can put your face on the screen and try different styles on your face before even touching your hair. Sorry, I can't be more help than that. I don't really cut my hair anymore. I just have Rose trim it every couple of months.
So is there some special occasion coming up?
