I would love to learn how to play the harp. I think it is so beautiful and classical. I am obsessed with anything english or celtic, I have been most of my life. The harp goes way back through time. I'm a history nut, especially anything having to do with Great Britain. I can only just imagine, being alone in a darkened corner of a magestic castle, strumming a tune that only my love would understand, only to have him show up, take me into his arms and whisk me away....
Okay, I think I have lost it now, lol. Too much reading.
Take care everyone and have a great day!

guitar both acousic and electric

Even since I was a kid I always wanted to play.

Borrowed one for a short time but needed lessons.

I learn by ear and can't really "read" music, so to really make it cry and wail, boy what I wouldn't give

I always wanted to learn to play the saxaphone, but I was told my lips were to "developed" to play. Maybe if I get my big pouty lips reduced I could give it a shot. Or I could just talk my honey into getting another sax and play for me. He used to play in HS, but now he's taken up guitar.

Saxaphone. I'm actually very talented and won many awards when I was in HS and was even offered several college music scholarships. Sadly the first year my hubby and I were married we desperatly needed money and I was forced to sell my saxaphone. Maybe someday I'll get another one!

Frannie- My H is a drummer.

I'd like to learn guitar or piano. I tried taking guitar lessons many years ago, but being a lefty made it difficult for every teacher I had!

Mandoline~
My hubby bought me one 2 years ago for Christmas. And while I can play a little he can pick up anything and play anything! I love the sound of a Mandoline~

The cello. I always had dreams of playing Pachelbel's Canon in D on one. The cello part is my favorite- so beautiful. But, alas, it's just a dream.

I'm with you Jenny - I bought a fiddle and I've been trying to teach myself, but I'd really like to take lessons.

The fiddle for sure. I have my grandpa's fiddle and I plan to learn to play it some day. Right now I have all four kids playing at least one instrument each so I am waiting my turn.
