CONGRATULATIONS MISSWHIT! EMAIL ME WITH YOUR MAILING ADDRESS AND I'LL SEND IN THE SUBSCRIPTION!!

Hey Farmgirl Sisters!
I was just thinking it's about time for a give-away! What do you say?

With all the excitement and buzz the last few days about who has received the latest copy of the MaryJanesFarm Magazine and when it might hit the stores, I thought ~ Yep! A MJF Magazine Subscription!
So here's the deal.

This give-away is for a Farmgirl who doesn't have a subscription yet. And, it's only for Farmgirls who are registered here at MJF's Farmgirl Connection (not your cousin or your best buddy...unless they register, that is.)

I'll keep it open until next Friday (7/18). All you have to do is post a comment here in this thread. Then, all the names go into a very cute vintage hat and one lucky Farmgirl gets a MJF Magazine subscription on me!

(Oh, and by the way....WOULD YOU PLEASE FOLLOW THE LINK ON THE CHAT PAGE AND READ THE "RUMOR HAS IT" COLUMNS...PRINCESS 'MATER (moi) is WRITING HER HEART OUT OVER THERE! Please somebody! Read it!)

What a lovely giveaway! I just discovered the magazine on the news stand and already I am hooked! The articles on Raising Jane spoke to my heart. I am saving my pennies to buy all the back issues and books. I'm ready to start a chapter and join the Sisterhood. I am starting my own little lavender farm in the Hudson Valley and I can't wait to start planting the first acre this spring. In the mean time, I'm gonna dust off my cowgirl boots, sew me some bed sheet bloomers, make aprons with my daughter and revisit the embroidery stitches I have not done since I was a child so I can use them again on those Sisterhood badges. I sure would love to win a subscription. I can't wait to connect with Farm Girls in my area and online.

Yours,
Des

Rebekah~ I am a huge fan of your blog. I loved the Queen Annes Lace bit that I read a couple weeks ago. It is funny how nature plays little tricks on our minds like that. Also, I am curious how you liked your book Girls Like Us. I love those gals so I thought it looked great. Maybe you can give us a review on it when you post again!

I hope to have my coop up and a new batch of chicks by the end of the year. I have told one of my neighbors that we are getting them and he was cool with it since he used to be a farm boy. I trust you will have yours one day as well. I saw something online a while back about sustainable living and how this apartment highrise actually had coops and gardens on the sides above the sidewalk level!
