So..I have mentioned that in our upcoming new home(we haven't moved yet/home goes on the market come January though..and then hopefully it will sell quickly)
I want to go with bright and bold colors.(Red,Yellow, turquoise)

So..I went over to a website countryliving.com/color and on the site you can play around with all different shades and colors of Benjamin Moore paints and also different room set ups.

Check out my blog for the colors I have chosen! That we will definitely be using in our new home.

You can create a fun room too by using the site..it was pretty fun actually . I knew what colors I wanted to incorporate , but actually seeing them in a room format/on "walls" is just cool.
Tell me what you think.

Wow very bright! My sister did that in her granddaughters room. I struggle with bright colors (hurts the eyes) and of course I was the one painting the rooms. ha Have fun!

I love that website! It's so much fun!!! I love the top room with the canary--bright yellows are my fav--and the pink is a possible choice for DD's room. Fun, fun!

Great use of color!! I love the teals, reds and canaries together. My friend who just got married did all of those, plus a cobalt blue in fiesta ware for her dinner dishes and serving plates. Makes everything brighten up, for sure!

I'm not such a chicken when it comes to color, it's trying to talk Justin into it...he would be happy if our living room stayed "vanilla" the rest of our lives!!!

Tina- Wow, how cool!! I've always been a color girl- greens, yellows, blues, purples, pinks. So what color am I painting my living room this week? Ivory. Go figure. But I have been peeking at all of the lovely "vanilla" rooms on people's blogs and they are calling my name out loud.
Your house is going to be the happiest place on earth when you get finished!!

oh good..I was hoping you had gotten the check and little note to Matthew:0) can't wait to see the goodies.
I've got to get on the ball for this month's mail art too.
and yes..it is just paint..check out that site..it's fun! And the latest issue of Country Living has a section in the back showing a little Nantucket cottage with some pretty bold colors..really cute.
See my current home has real pale pastels..pale minty Martha Stewart green and pale colors in the pallette throughout the house..nice colors but nothing really "bold" about them at all..and since I'm going to be 40 this year..well...it just is more than time for a change..ha.

What fun colors!! I'm always such a chicken when it comes to paint. I tell myself over and over it's just paint you can' always paint over it.

I will be dropping your package off tomorrow morning at the post office. It should there in about 3 to 5 days. ;)
