Posted - Oct 14 2005 : 3:53:24 PM We have recently sold our house and are in the process of buying a farming block. Meanwhile we had to live somewhere. The little place we have in the country, makes me feel like Granny from the Beverly Hillbillies!! And just between us girls, if I took my teeth out, I would look the spitting immage of her :( Anyway have a few pictures of the place and the chooks. If anyone would like to see them, drop your name below or email me and I will send them thru. |

Posted - Oct 15 2005 : 3:14:22 PM Hi FFF, yes, a farm block consists of house and land, as aposed to a farm, which is either dairy or sheep.. Then there is also lifestyle blocks which are an acre or can be up to 5 acres.
JP, you will need to email me with an addy, as you havent got a contact on your profile thingy. helen.b@wirenet.net.nz |

Posted - Oct 15 2005 : 06:14:42 AM I'd love to see your photos! 'Bout ten years ago, DH and I decided we were going to move to NZ, but we were neither rich enough, young enough nor educated enough to be wanted or needed there--strict immigration guidelines! Still, we have NZ as our number one international vacation choice some day! It will be fun to your pictures--thank you and best wishes. |
