DH is soooo happy. I haven't heard him smile on the phone for a long time. He called me at work to tell me that Workman's Comp called him this morning and said they would accept his claim! They have dallied and made excuses and dragged this out for 50 days (counting today). Finally dh can get the MRI and get his shoulder fixed. Finally, we can go to town and get groceries. We were getting really creative with what we had left in the pantry and what we were getting from the garden and some concoctions were just yuck. Woohoo! What a relief.

I don't know how much longer this would have gone on if it wasn't for an attorney calling them. Very nice man and he charged us nothing.

We're going to be ok, but some warm thoughts and prayers for dh's speedy recovery would be greatly appreciated. I have got to get this man back to work for his own mental wellness.

Lisa, once again so happy about the news. Nothing worse than a bored man at home. HEE HEE! Tell that man of yours I said HI and tell Felicia I have a (of course) late graduation card in the mail for her.(mailed it yesterday.)Take care my prayers are with you. Laura

Thanks, girls. Yes, Frannie, some attorney's are actually nice, but they are few and far between:(

Christina, dh has driven me crazy in the past with other injuries (he's accident prone, if you hadn't guessed by now), but he's actually been really good this time. He's been quite bored, but he's not calling me here at work 10 times a day to tell me so.

Several times during all of this, I felt God was trying to show me I COULD manage everything on just my wages and to teach dh that he doesn't really need as much money as he thinks. And there really are a lot of things we CAN do without. This has been a great lesson for both of us. It's not over yet, I know, but it's improved greatly today. Getting dh on the mend is the most important thing.

Very happy for you and your husband, Lisa! See, attorney's aren't all bad :) Hope this gives you some light at the end of the tunnel.

Lisa i am so excited for your families good news.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. Not just for his sanity but for yours as well. My lovely hubby had an injured rotator cuff a couple years ago and he drove me crazy a few times while in the healing process! He just got so bored not being able to do all the same things.
